High School • Played unofficially for the Seahawks’ boys’ tennis team • Competed in basketball and volleyball for Lady Seahawks College • Played in one match for the University of Washington men’s team • Won Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) doubles national championship as a junior • AIAW singles quarterfinalist as a junior and senior Professional • Ranked professionally as high as fifth in the world in 1978 in doubles and 35th in singles in 1977 • First Washington State woman to be drafted by pro tennis team, playing five seasons for the Sea-Port Cascades, Boston Lobsters, Indiana Loves and New Orleans Nets of World Team Tennis • Won Spanish Open in doubles • Semi-finalist at the French Open and U.S. Open in mixed doubles Other • Inducted into the UW Husky Hall of Fame in 1987 • Inducted into State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 • 2011 Recipient of Distinguished Service Award by UW Alumni Association
